Hello. Hi. Welcome.

I’m Meriah – the newly self-proclaimed Mommy Project Guru.

Do you love DIY? Me too! I LOVE a good DIY home project and I’ve been “perfecting” my techniques over the past ten years! As a result, I have some amazing tips and tricks to share from projects past, along with a lot of learning to embark on with you on some new, future home project endeavors! I can’t wait to show you some of the projects I’ve worked on over the years and showcase some new things I’m doing.

But first … a little bit about me on a more personal level.

I’m married to a wonderful guy named Ben. We had that love at first sight, know he’s the one, quick to marry romance and we still fall more and more in love to this day. Blah, blah …. Ok … I’ll stop. Basically, we met and married in six months and that was NINE years ago. Zero regrets. He is the one God hand-selected for me! We both work from home, so we spend a LOT of time together. Pretty much 24/7 togetherness.  He’s a crucial part to executing many of my projects. When I say I have an “idea”, he just shakes his head and says he’ll do whatever I need. Gotta love him!

Our Lovely Family …

Ben and I have three wonderful little kids together: Harper (4), Miles (2) and Sawyer (9 months). Kids didn’t come to us as easily as most. After some fertility struggles, we decided to adopt (I was adopted, so it was a simple leap for us). Harper was our stork drop surprise in 2016, while Miles gave us a whole month to prepare for his arrival in mid-2018. In fall of 2019, after our annual family trip to Montana, we found out we were expecting. In May of 2020, our Sawyer was born. Being in the midst of a pandemic was poetic…at least that’s what I tell myself! I love our story and how unique each part is and I love watching my young family grow.

Location, Location, Location … please?

We call the greater Atlanta area home, where the weather is fairly nice all year long. We may have super-hot, humid summers … but that’s doable for the milder weather the remainder of the year. Nice weather affords me a lot of project time!

Sum it up …

As I’ve already proclaimed (not yet from the mountain tops!) … I LOVE a good project. Whether it’s a kid’s art project, refinishing a dilapidated piece of furniture, building something, or making a room in my house function (and look!) better … I want to share the fun I have doing it with you. Home projects are my zen. My passion. My Fun. So, take a seat, subscribe to my blog and hope you enjoy what I have to share!

Now to showcase my first project!
